      Hopefully the Cheese can play a role for us as a loose forward or 14, not a dummy half.

        WELL, that was better , Teddy shook off his blues, Lukey was the grouse , JWH was JWH , Turpin wasnt bad , Junior had a cracking debut , Sualli is slowly descending into flog hood....AND Ashley F**king Klein pretty much stayed out of the way...win win

Still really concerned w Joey Manu's form...not making a break, nor passing and seems really slow....slower than Reed Mahoney. Now if we can beat the Panthers next week......
          I’m so happy for both Teddy and Keary to have finally responded through their actions to the plenty criticism they’ve copped, albeit well deserved. I share your concerns about Joey Manu; we seem to have made him totally ineffective by the positional change. Maybe a stint at fullback around the next two Origins might bring back the old Joey.

            Pick him in the position where he plays best . Centre.

                Even though the score was a lot closer than we would have liked, I think there are a lot of positives to come out of the match;
                • The leaders of the team in Teddy, JWH and Kez really stood up and led the team around.
                • Lindsay Collins showed again (as he has done all year) why he is a world class prop and will take over JWH's mantle when the big dog retires. He gives 100% in attack and defence.
                • Turpin and Sandon Smith were really solid out of dummy half.
                • Nathan Brown (despite limited game time) looks like being an astute signing who I really hope we keep.
                • Sitili has come back from his knee injury bigger and better than ever.
                • Junior Pauga had a good solid debut.
                • No Hutch which was nice (Really lovely guy, who is super team focused but he is just too slow in attack and defence)
                • Our completion rate was actually pretty decent and defence overall was an improved effort.
                • Ashley Klown gave us a fair go.

                A couple of questions and observations for the more knowledgeable on here then me;
                • There was a guy on the wing in our NSW cup team (Allan Fitzgibbon) who looked good, he is super quick, hits hard in defence and looks good under the high ball. Is he a realistic option for 1st grade? If so surely he would be a better option than Corey Allan who really doesn't appear offer us much (and appears to be about as fast as Hutch).
                • Is Terrell May injured? I though he was coming on nicely for us and just seems to have disappeared.
                • I honestly feel like Nathan Brown offers so much more than Nat Butcher, runs harder, hits harder in defence and has some wonderful ball playing skills.

                  A Fitz is an interesting one. Very quick and has some power too. Knows how to score a try. Have liked what I"ve seen from his this year.

                  Tigers punted him off a train and trial contract, not on form or ability there was a police matter wont elaborate on that. Has got another chance with Easts.

                  We have a lot of wing options next year it seems, but this bloke could become a real crowd pleaser.

                    Of course you don't want to be in the tent as you're as rock solid as liquid water - can't carryon ad nauseum "venting" and tossing toys out of the cot otherwise.

                    Well no surprise at all Carla that you copped criticism and abuse all your life.

                    This isn't Communist China or some other authoritarian and totalitarian state i.e Russia /Belarus where you must agree or else you suffer the consequences - it's a democracy

                    I am not going to agree with something I don't agree with or be told I must agree as x number of anonymous folk on an anonymous site have the same view on some particular subject/topic - that's communist thinking and ideology and narcissist behaviour

                    Zero concerns about what anonymous folk on an anonymous site think of me - That Kevin "Bloody" Wilson song

                    You can vent and throw your toys out of the cot/pram all you want on here but the bottom line is it means diddly squat - pissing in the wind

                    Dead set if your world revolves around the fortunes of a football team as it does for some on here and you feel this need to always "vent" on here then what can one say - it's only a game - have other interests and or take on a hobby or two. - Take a Holiday

                      I’m pleased to confirm that King Google is not only a pompous jerk, but also a CCP stooge repeatedly pushing the Communist Part’s approved message.

                        Great post. Lots of positives coming from the weekend’s nailbiter and I thought it was actually a decent game to watch. I guess winning by 1 is so much better than losing by 1.

                        I absolutely agree with your assessment of Nathan Brown offering so much more than Nat Butcher. In my opinion, Nat Butcher doesn’t belong in the top 17 and is a depth forward at best, whereas Brown has a significantly better skill set and does everything with real intent. Egan Butcher is much better than Nat, but has a little way to go before matching what Brown can deliver.

                          Sure it was better. But Reed Mahoney going off for so long was also a big factor.
