  • Just play our best 1-17

It ain't hard, and it isn't much of an ask. Love Joey, but he is not a 6 or a 7.

Until Sam is back just chuck Hutch in, or Sandon.

But the backline where it belongs.

Agreed. We must have more than one kicking option on the fifth. It is also removing Manu’s threat at centre.

Manu is playing exactly like a center, just in the 5/8 position, keeps going down with the ball, can’t throw a cutout, and rarely even passes, he is just getting tackled where he has less room to move.

I just don’t see any positives, does anybody else?

Toops should be back next week.

If we play our top available 17 next week in their correct positions and put S.Smith at 7 and keep the handbrake out of the 17, we COULD surprise Penrith.

            Teddy
            Toops
            Smith
            Manu
            Suaalii/Allen
            Keary
            Smith
            Brown
            Sitili
            Butch
            JWH
            Turpin
            Collins

            Lodge
            Angus
            Butch 2
            Whyte/May

Seriously, a committed effort from that 17 could get the job done.

0% chance of us beating Penrith

With no Cleary and if Robbo picks a squad that can score some points, I think we can.

If the chooks can get back to the power game up the middle that turned last years season around Joey Manu would have a field day at 5/8 . While the forwards are not dominating the middle and joey starts looking to create outside of himself is when it looks ordinary.
they key to success is dominance in the middle because we don't have any strike out wide to create things from nothing.
If Lodge Collins and JWH can all hit top form together it might spread through the rest of the pack. Then the chooks will be rolling again....

It will only take 1 game to turn it around and find some belief again.
                  hopefully next week

                    His game is going backwards.

I just watched Val Holmes carve up the Storms edges and reflected back to a time when Manu was a strike weapon.

                    FFS!

Cleary is a massive out for them. Hopefully the boys can finally get a win over the riff next week. I think they've won 6 straight against us

The other highlight for me today was seeing Friendy next to Robbo in the coaches box.

No chance against Penrith - with or without Cleary. We could only beat a reserve grade side by 1 today.

I must say I feel sorry for Joey Manu,a victim of his own versatility..

He is arguably the best centre in the game yet he is put in a position where his game looks like it’s going backwards..

Surely the Coaching staff can bite the bullet before it’s too late and admit they got this one wrong!

Put him back where he belongs and maybe our attack might start clicking again Ffs!

Arguably, he was the best centre, now he isn’t in the top 8
