You couldn't have imagined a worse set of stats. They've been laying the foundations for a few years, but those numbers exceed the most pessimistic of expectations.
Well done team.
And her was me getting excited when Paulo scored 6 tries in the first few matches. Since that tiny glimmer of hope, the whole season has gone to shit.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

The only Robbo led year in memory that compares is 2016, where Mitchell Pearce ****ed a dog and we started the season with nearly have the main squad injured.
Every other year since 2013 we have either won the premiership, won the minor premiership or made the top 6.
Thats an outstanding record by anyones measure (except yours)
Robbo deserves the remainder of this season, and middle of next at an absolute minimum to correct the ship, based on historical performance.

Coach Robinson is signed until 2028 so unless he decides to pull the pin earlier he will Coaching until at least then.
Roosters chairman Nick Politis described Robinson as the NRL’s ‘best thinker’ and praised him for his strong leadership and values.
“In my view, Trent is the game’s best thinker. He is a man of high integrity with a genuine love for his players, the history of our Club and the area we represent,” Politis said.

If Robbo doesn’t quickly fix the mess that he’s created - yes he’s responsible for it - there is no chance he will
see out his contract. Politis will eventually sack him like he had to do to Freddy

That’s much more than 3 years, and if you still think you were onto something after the undeniable back to back premierships then the word denial is one I would recommend researching.

The Spine during that run was Tedesco/Keary/Walker/Verrills - Manu played 5/8 vs Dragons the first game of the 8 game streak
The spine is even better in 2023 with the addition of an International and Premiership winning dummy half in Brandon Smith
So how come this spine was not firing though as 3 of the 4 players were the same in the first 6 games ?
So is it Coach Robinson's fault or the players fault they were and are not performing as after all they were performing during that 8 game winning streak
Sam Walker has only 2 try assists and 2 line break assists in 6 games in 2023 and a pass to run ratio of 6 i.e 1 run every 6 passes
As a running half is his running metres/runs and creation of points ( 2 try assists and 2 line break assists ) satisfactory and why do you think his running game/run numbers have declined?- Dolphins - 135 metres - 12 runs
- Warriors - 110 metres - 10 runs
- Souths - 47 metres - 8 runs
- Eels - 28 metres - 7 runs
- Storm - 35 metres - 5 runs
- Sharks - 31 metres - 4 runs
