Agree with the sentiments - he's always been a big ball hog, but it's really impacting those around now with his loss in speed and zippiness. Hard conversations need to be had with him on evolving his attacking game to give opportunities to those around him.

The concerning part has been his defensive efforts tonight, the missed tackle on Cobbo, the slip for the Tabuai-Fidow try and then being out jumped by a prop forward on his own line.

These are as much about effort and composure as they are talent or form.

As a captain of the Roosters and Blues this is probably the most concerning part of his game at the moment.

He was also horribly out of position for their 1st try from the kick. Who would have thought they’d kick on the 5th.

He looks like a bloke that needs a month or so off to regain his mojo.

On tonight’s performance, Edwards would look good at the back.
