Can see Whyte and Wong potentially leaving unfortunately
both guns but so many back towers allready

Whyte has turned around this year showing what potential he had
he is dominating res every week, wong at 19 is a big unit who can move

would love to see Sandon smith get a crack at 7 while Walker out or at least 14 for hutch while Watson out

Whyte seems similar to sst a shorter and solid unit who has footwork who can play prop, edge and lock
what would his best position be?

wong an edge back rower who I can see taking over the main 1st graders soon

Butcher bros allthough tackling well just don’t offer enough on attack

interesting moretti got a run for parra last week, big unit

Roosters fans should keep an eye on young halfback Sandon Smith. He was 18th man for the NRL side in Round 12 and is highly regarded at the club.

Smith set up four tries in the Roosters’ upset over Newtown. He also got two linebreak assists, ran for 66 metres and made 35 tackles with three misses. He kicked the matchwinning penalty goal in the 73rd minute too.

Naufahu Whyte can’t be far from a call-up either with the 21-year-old, who has played four NRL games season, is in a rich vein of form in NSW Cup. Whyte played a full game at prop and finished the with a try, a linebreak, six tackle busts and 271 running metres — 124 post-contact — as well as 29 tackles with just one miss."
Forget these guys, young and developing. They will get no chance of usurping old and waning.

Agreed Sir, I know he has played most of his Reggies career in the 2nd row, but see his opportunity being a pig in first grade.

Robbo can’t get it right with Whyte and Wong.

Plus Robinson can't get it right with an apparent whiz kid playing in the number 3 jersey. Seriously with all the talent at his disposal - how can we be going so bad.

If Sandon Smith is not better than the handbrake he should re think his career choice.

Hence why the supporter backlash at the moment..

If Robbo is happy enough for Nick to assemble a quality roster year after year for him then unfortunately with that comes pressure to perform, that’s the way of life!

People defending him based on past performance despite his mistakes so far this year are either kidding themselves or easily pleased..

Also he can’t get it right with signings. It’s all budget buying at K Mart whilst constantly renewing veterans contracts. I’ve mentioned previously that Robbo should watch the Bill Russell doco in how he played a large part in changing the white dominated NBA, now it’s 80% African American. Tallis was quoted yesterday by saying the NRL is now 50% Polynesian. In 10 -15 years that percentage likely 75% but in the meantime the Professor can’t get it right with Whyte or Wong or with any other up and comer. He is a handbrake on a players future.

Imagine how Sandon feels given he has been tearing up NSW Cup for a few seasons yet the first grade coach prefers both Hutch the Handbrake, a journeyman reserve grader and Joey Manu, a farrrking centre/outside back rather than give him a crack in the halves when Sam got dropped or when Keary goes down.
