  • Mini in doubt for anzac day

hip problem, pity he can't take Anasta with him

can't wait to see what Smith has cooked up, guess we might get to see if he was serious about Mortimer playing fullback.

the best option would be Perrett to fullback then bring back Carney or maybe give a natural try scorer in Moga a go, its not like the team is blessed with natural tryscorers.

knowing smith, its likely to be another terrible selection decision.

He's just as likely to have Morts at fullback and BJ back on the wing.

smith doesnt like try scorers. he prefers his outside backs to do hitups and he built like props.

BJ to fullback, them the bloke room to move, hitting the line at speed, bot hospital passes those those useless pricks inside him.

If not BJ, throw the 20's fullback in

apart from SKD and Maubs we really lack the ability to take half chances to score, the number of times Perrett this year has blown chances is criminal, also the Friend one on saturday, he only had to dive to score and couldn't do that.

at least there are a few in NYC coming through that are natural tryscorers, infact there could be an arguement made that the NYC backline yesterday RTS/O'Sullivan/Moga/Rona/Rokolati are the most talented going around in the comp as a collective.

just pray at some point we will get a decent coach to help with the transition to first grade.

I would settle for Jason Taylor at the moment, its a joy to watch our NYC side at the moment, a simple structured game with the forwards punching up the middle and Jacks/McGrady kicking for the corners and once field position dominance is established they give early ball to the likes of Moga/Rona who have the potential to tear oppositions apart.

                          I'd prefer that to smith.

Knowing our dumb club though, if they sacked smith then they would probably promote elliott.

Surely you can't be serious. Freddy prefered Anasta at fullback when Perrett was in the side and that speaks volumes.

Minichiello hasn't been playing as bad as posters say he is. He is by far our best metre eater.

Such is our sad predicament at this club, Mortimer appears to be our only option at the back if Mini is out.

It was interesting to hear the commentators say a similar thing last week, why waste battering rams like JWH,MK and Tasi by giving their go forward role to our outside backs, mind boggling...

I was also interested to listen to Ryles comments in regards to pre season training,he was quoted as saying he has never had such a hardcore pre season programe as he had with the Storm, hence benefiting them for the season ahead.

                              I hate Brian Smith!
