It's not about right or wrong, it is about selling papers. Carney was always a big story, whether it be the redemption story of last year or the outrage stories of this year, people love reading it - we love cheering the underdog (last year) and booing the villain (this year).

As much as he doesn't like it, this is his bed - he's made it, he has to lie in it. His simple alternative is to go and work as a labourer for $30an hour. He can then get on the drink all he likes and the media will leave hime to it.

It's not news, it's theatre and that is what the tabloids do.

Well they should sell this story. NSW Origin woes. Promising Origin rep lets down his blues team mates again. Heads must roll. Blah Blah Blah.
