Yeah possibly, and that was my first thought too when I first read the article.
But 10 mins later when I read about Sandow being in trouble whilst out drinking and gambling, my suspicions turned to him.

But yeah you're right about the St.Merge suspicion and the reference to a coach who is renouned and a stickler for getting the off field behaviour of his players straightened out

That same coach had Allan Langer play for nothing for 3 years because of his gambling debts

I have my doubts they are 'facts', just your version of events.

I do agree with you though that News Ltd is made up of more than journalists/hacks who make up only a small component of its employees. I have had contact with a number of quality individuals who work for News in their corporate/finance areas.

But seriously, what Sandow did (the threat) isn't the worst thing in the world.

He's a hopeless footy player, and probably a dickhead on the piss (like most NRL players), but some knob threatening to kill someone else isn't exactly the rarest of events on a night out.

I couldn't count the amount of times I've heard, "You're ****ing dead, you ****," or some other variant in altercations in the city.

Yes, Sandow mentioned guns. Yeah, it's a stupid thing to say. But it isn't the worst thing that's been done. I think we're all smart enough to acknowledge that it's an empty threat, and a threat not dissimilar from hundreds that are thrown arounds by ****wits in the Cross every weekend.

As for everything being said about Fitzgibbon... leave that out of it. Nothing to do with Sandow's misdemeanour.

Well the past 6 pages are certainly a great way to exhibit this newly publicized forum to the greater community.... It must be off season when hero's like A.Walker and Nathan Hauritz are persistently posting irrelevant dribble....

Anyway back to the issue...it certainly is a disgrace that such a seemingly provocative story was kept under wraps. This seems to be a common theme associated with SSFC. But hey, life isnt fair...not much we can do about it.

Speaking of the vermin...intersting to have a squiz at the betting markets today (sportsbet.com.au of course ...they are $8.50 to take out the comp...I know it means shit all, but seriously? Unbelievable. I smell a 'eel-esque' season for them.
