    He was a player who never realised his potential. I wonder if that was a factor in his sad demise.

      had a lot of troubles back when he was playing, Alan Jones was always on the radio defending him.

          Trust you to find one against Easts I do remeber that game though 1994 We were beaten in the dying minutes.It was the last time Souths Easts beat until 2005

                Jacin & Alan Jones were considered close companions, a lot closer than one would describe as normal!

                He became a father at just 18 & left behind a 20 y.o son.

                  Thats the thing about Jones though, I know some people that have been coached by him and there is the "boyfriend" stories but alot of players were/are just mentored and basically given guidance and help in a very good way.

                  I agree with the duke, no one should die at 38
