Inglis is shit, they are better off doing a Braith with him and move him into the second row. Too slow for the backs and is to slack at training to become a consistent footballer.

Let him eat up their dollars and wait to see him become a total at souffs, in about 2 years he will probably look like a bloody sumo wrestler that can barely run. Souffs can get royally ****ed, Mundine is just a big mouth cock head and that little kid that plays hafback for them learn how to tackle.

How long before Inglis goes out on the town in Sydney with his new mates and finds himself plastered all over the papers. I give it to May next year.

Funny how the 'houlier than thou' soapbox Rabbits try to justify their pilfering of Inglis with the spin ...."we kept him in League and saved the NRL from losing a top player"
...he had agreed to play for the Broncos .... last time I looked, they were a part of the NRL ?

Despite the fact that GI hadn't officially signed with the broncos, he had agreed to play for them, shook on the deal and had given verbal assurances to officials even just days before that he would be playing for them.
How ethical is it for Rusty, Fat Richo & Co. to continue to persuade him to renege on his agreement ?

Could you imagine the outcry from Souffs and their fans, if the Roosters had persuaded a player to renege on a deal with Souffs ?? All the finger pointing at the unscrupulous Roosters and their lack of morals, ethics and rorting.

Rorting ? Funny how a team where the boss (just last month) publicly stated that they had no room to move under the cap, can find room for a new $500k+ deal.
Again I say, if that was the Roosters ?? .....

Just another example of the hypocracy that is the Vermin ...the pride?? No ....."the hypocrites of the league"

What about Inglis saying today "Souffs are the peoples club".

                  I almost vomited.

                  And some facts:

When asked which of the Melbourne "Big 4" they would go after, Richardson said "Billy Slater would be the one that we'd chase, but we've got no money under the salary cap, so all we can do is window-shop at this stage.''

When he was asked why the club was going to let Luke Capewell go Richardson said ''We don't have any money left under the cap.''

Anyone that thinks Souffs were going into the new season with $500K spare on their cap is seriously deluded.

But this one could be their undoing.

There is no way the NRL will unveil another salary cap scandal.

Crowe is too high profile to be embroiled in something like this.

                    I hope I am wrong.

We will be pushing for it - and we have some profile too.

With the nature of NRL right now, with the Storm saga still firmly in peoples minds, there is no way souths would be breaking the cap.

A more realistic proposition is that his contract is back-ended so they'll pay him a paltry amount for the upcoming season and then pay the majority of his contract in the last couple of years of his contract.

Are you interested in buying the Harbour Bridge?

I can get you a good price.

These are interesting statements from Turtle neck

The first was made in July this year. The second was made on August 26 and after the NRL had announced changes to the cap. Where did they find room for a player of Inglis calibre?

I posed the same question to a souths mate and was told that they released Colin Best....go figure

Apparently turtle necks shopping bill have been included in previous caps, he has promised he will be starting an optfast diet, thus saving the 500k a season

I would not want that type of disloyal person working/playing for me.

Another obvious thing too on Inglis....he is made to look good playing outside quality players like Cronk, Slater & Smith for the Storm. At rep level he usually stands out because of the top class players around him creating opportunities.
At the Broncos he would have shone IMO but not so at Souffs in 2011. They've got nothing. Their halves pairing are dysfunctional and they lack depth & experience in the backs. If Souths cannot sign another classy back or two to compliment Inglis then his move to Redfern will derail his career.
It's sure to end in tears for Greg or the club.
