The refs did kill the game off. The sinbin of Barret was harsh.
Their backs are pretty rubbish, but geez they field one of the best emerging packs in the NRL. -
The referree distinctly told Barrett "one more and somebody sits down" and in saying that the ref listed what the penalties had been for and said "... and one over there for turning". Barrett asked "what do you mean, turning?" and the ref explained, referring to turning the player over.Originally posted by BigMike View Post

TOK, the ruck was fine and the refs over-policed it. That was a garbage penalty from a ref that seemed to only be pinging one side even though both sides were equal in terms of speed in the ruck.Comment

The Sharks gave away a few in a row, and Barrett was specifically warned, and was still dumb enough to give away the next one
