the bon jovi song actually also acted as a warning to the afl, saying that Sydney was rugby league heartland.

ive got to adsmit thats the worst rev up song ive ever heard? tiny tim could have done better hes been dead for years! although i did see him perform at an easts norths game at north sydney oval once tip toe through the tulips was a more demanding balsy balad than this rubbish!ok i accept we dont get much screen time, we didnt win the comp but neither did pawwa or up uip cronulla! the ghost of newscorp lives on?
