They way Richo has carried on is disgraceful. The kid will bear the scars of the CEO's dummy spit for the rest of his career.
Agree, he’s only 19 years old. He’s been badly managed by his manager and now being torn to shreds by the media who have clearly taken one side. I feel sorry for the Tigers and their fans but the whole coverage is way over the top. Galvin’s reputation may never recover from this and he’s barely out of high school.

I will only believe that if you frame it “ I like Cody Walker more than Lachie Galvin” …….much harder to say it that way.

Like I said at the start of this thread he has already got a deal for more money at another club & that club I believe is the Dogs.
The Tigers should suck it up, reinstate him to 5/8 & try to make the 8 this year.
I dont care what anyone says LG is a top player.

Galvin has won and achieved diddly squat! Moses has potentially mislead him and now the majority of the NRL fan base think he's a spoilt little brat.
He has the right to not renew at Tigers if he so chooses.
Anyway, radio news said that NRL is going to conduct an investigation into the goings on at Tigers with Galvin.
Bullying was mentioned earlier in this thread.
Yes, there are laws against workplace bullying and harassment.
So too against using the internet to bully and harass.
    The kid's a teenager.
Galvin's mental health was mentioned in the radio report.
Yes, "all roads lead to lawyers".

All I know is that this BS took all the pressure off Spencer and just goes to show how bloody fake all the media is… just a few days ago you’d have thought Spencer punched JT the way some of the media was carrying on.. now complete radio silence.. what’s wrong does JTs feelings mean nothing now? lol what a joke. Anyway thanks tigers and Galvin for taking the spotlight

I find it interesting that Luai and Turuva bagged lachie for leaving the tigers for more money however they just signed at the club for more money then they were on at Penrith

Yes they have had more seasons in first grade but still harsh on a 19 year old kid

luai might be jealous Galvin has cracked the mill mark earlier

What Luai should also remember he was carried by Cleary and Penrith through his premierships and origin until he finally stepped up last year after he signed the $1m contract and Cleary was injured

otherwise he has been solid for the tigers but nothing amazing

You gotta feel for the kid. His team mates ganging up on him and posting sh!t on social media is slack. It would be classified as workplace bullying were I'm from.

Galvin has done nothing wrong here, at least not publicly. His contract expires at the end of 2026 why are the Tigers trying to get him to extended his contract so far in advance? Because they want him for less than he can probably get on the open market when he can negotiate with rival clubs at the end of this year. It's a pretty poor response from the Tigers with the childish statement they put out a few days ago which has kicked off a united pile on to a teenager because everyone hates his manager but that's typical of the Fatso who is running the Tigers we all remember the Craig Wing press conference.

How could Galvin's game not develope playing alongside Lui who has just won 4 grand finals playing next to the best halfback in the game?

it was the tigers who offered galvin 6m for 5 years and an upgrade for next year. this isn't about galvin being greedy.
if the club wanted him i'd be happy with that. doubt he'll be released this year though - with the year half over they'd only save 175k. not sure they'd take townshend as a swap.
if parra wanted him long term they could do worse than offer dylan brown

Remember what they also did to their own club legend Robbie.

They are a sitcom of a club that still has high ratings after 20 years.

and all this proves there is no loyalty by club, or player.

Galvin is in the wrong, as much as any player a club decides to let go with no explanation.

The NRL is completely at fault for all of these transfers and decisions.
