Ok, its half time in the Monday night game at ANZ between Sharks and Bulldogs. Bulldogs are up 24-0, and Sharks have looked lousy in attack. THis is mainly to do with their halves. Jeff Robson is a great talent at halfback for the Sharks. But seing Carney is out at Origin, Robson is forced to play outside Wade Graham (predictable and definitely not a halfback). Even the commentators on 104.9 agree. "Robson is a great player, but he's playing outside Graham who is not used to playing five-eighth"
Now you may be asking why I have posted this on the Sydney Roosters discussion. But the answer is simple. The Roosters have had the same problem as the Sharks are having tonight, for the past year. We dont have a good five-eighth to play outside the great talent Pearce, or Smith doesnt pick a good five-eigth. No, instead he picks an absolute shocker of a five-eighth, maybe the worst in the competition.
This problem can be fixed by 2 options.
1. Anasta to lock, mortimer to five eighth
2. Anasta to Newtown, mortimer to five eigth
If these options arent picked, we will have to wait for next year with Maloney and Pearce.
