It will be interesting to see if Stuart coaches the Blues over a 3 year period & comes up empty.

To be fair, who the coaches are is irrelevant. The simple fact is that QLD has better players, that's all it comes down to.

A team with Slater, Inglis, Hodges, Cronk, JT, Taylor, Petro, Smith, Hannant, Shillington etc etc... coaches itself. I could coach the QLD team to a victory over a Ricky Stuart coached NSW team.

That's no disrespect to Mal Meninga, but let's be honest - it wouldn't be difficult to coach the QLD team to play football. They have the best players in the most important positions.

Ricky made a point last week, no matter what team he chooses - people will whinge, whinge and whinge. The simple fact though is.. that's happened every single game for NSW in the past. Fact is, not even the fans can properly agree with what team is a good team and there will always be people who try to argue with large portions of the side named. And when trying to name alternative sides, come up with shockers like Idris and who fkn knows what

This year feels different though, the side that was picked (apart from Creagh) was pretty much what 90% of picked had picked. My experience of the other league forums though

My point was more about how apparantley Nick doesnt rate Bellamy because of his failure as coach of NSW, but he rates Ricky who has so far failed as NSW coach against this super Qld side.

You cannot be serious teams like Man U, Chelsea, Barcelona are stacked full of Internationals but they all still need a coach.
Work places dont work if you let the workers run the show, no matter how good they are.
