I'm happy they got rid of that idiot Ennis, there is not one creative bone in his body. Not sure I am a fan of B.Stewart at the back. Time will tell I guess.

They always seem to think mobility wins these games, which is just crazy. As we have seen in the past 5 series, its Qld's big boppers that keep driving over the advantage line all the way till the 80th minute, which just lays the platform down for all their backline stars to create havoc.

Mini has obviously been in better form in 2012 than Stewart. What a joke. And Buhrer really??

Buhrer is your typical Fulton Manly pick. Hinchcliffe deserved it more.

Stickys love affair with mobility has been his downfall, our pack would run straight through these moops. WHere is Simms??? he has been killing it.
We wont win a game, a host of out of forms players no size a couple of soft coqs in Merrin and Creagh a rookie and Wlliams who come game 1 wont have played a game for 8 weeks.
                      well done sticky

btw Stewart is a much better fullback and ball player than Mini at this point in time. He does everything that mini does but has a better passing game and more speed.

If he wasn't playing injured last year, he would of been playing Origin instead of Mini.

Also, Creagh selection makes me sick. Even though Snowden and Mannah aren't in career best form, they deserved to be backed from last year. They will be needed around the middle.

If Creagh replicates his club form, he will be great. The problem is that he seems intimidated by the Origin arena.

                          QLD must be laughing
Also Jennings not good enough to play for Penriff but good enough for NSW
                          3 - 0 QLD

They could start now and still lose.

As if Greg Bird can't do what they want Jamie Buhrer to do. Watmough has been in great form and hasn't played a bad game in Origin. Every year he gets picked in Game 2 and we realise how much his aggression was needed.

Tariq Sims should be there for Ben Creagh. He has raw aggression and would not be overrawed like Creagh is every time he plays Origin. Can also play prop at a higher standard than Creagh and he will undoubtedly be pushed tight.

Also thought Dugan deserved the fullback spot. He had a blinder today, while Stewart had a shocker. He played the first game and showed that he was made for Origin. Only injury stopped him from playing the whole series. His combination with Pearce and Jennings on the left was electric. Plus he is the future fullback, Stewart only has a couple of decent years left.

I agree 100% with the Williams selection. You need a player like that in Origin. The man is enormous!!! Impossible to stop!! And fresh, you can't tell me he hasn't been keeping fit either. He'll be our big weapon.

Upside is the Stewart brothers, Williams, Buhrer, Cherry-Evans (I believe) and possibly Foran will be out for our next game. We won't have any creativeness in the halves probably but if our pack can play with the same intensity as last night we'll win anyway.
