Fund Raising For Cerebral Palsy via STEPtember

Hi everyone,

I'm taking part in the steps challenge for the month of September by walking all over the eastern suburbs in my Roosters gear to help raise funds for a great cause. If anyone would like to make a donation, big or small, it would be greatly appreciated by me and the young man assigned to me as my coach. He loves the music of ABBA so they really assigned me an appropriate mentor. Please PM me if you would like to support us.

I know this is my Steptember thread, but I just wanted to thank those who sponsored me in Tour de Cure also (the walks we did in March for cancer research.) Australia wide across all companies and individuals who took part, we raised over $100 million and was recognised by the Prime Minister also.

Both my parents died of cancer recently and I've donated a lot to cancer research myself as have my two kids who were involved in the relay for life fund raiser.

Well you are all getting your wish. The lumps in my left armpit came back from 2012 so I won't be around forever..I thought I had the flu..turns it it wasn't...If you don't believe me, feel free to come with me to my next appointment at Double Bay 8.30am 7 August - Bank Holiday..I could do with a helping hand.

I'll make sure you all get invited to the memorial service..and if you are thinking that I'm joking...only time will tell..won't it? I did warn you all about karma and making fun of people as you never know when our time is up..do we?

I do hope you all stay well and happy..I'll leave you all to it. I mentioned to Chris that I'll be off for treatment soon so he can close my account on here so that no-one thinks I'll be using other names etc...or speculate about my whereabouts.

Sad to hear that and never wish that on anyone. Mine was simple banter and I think it may help you if you maybe lightened up . I guess you like everyone else may not know what goes on in our lives health wise like we dont know yours . Many on here including Rented have spouses or family members that are suffering from insidious disease of some kind and some like me and a few others choose humor to cope or hide from it and like you many of us wont be around forever or for some not long at all .

Sorry about the lump and do I hope you get positive news from the doctor. It will never be my wish for anyone to become ill. I only ever offered support and then things changed for no apparent reason.

I have been accused of stalking, placed on ignore and made to feel excluded for 12 months by one poster on this very site. I have also been falsely accused of sending an abusive pm which I did not do and was recently told I should await prosecution for these false allegations.

I will always support good causes such as cancer and other medical research.

I never have nor ever will wish illness upon anyone I am not though seeking forgiveness Ive done nothing here that I need to be forgiven for. I do hope all those suffering from health issues can overcome them

All I can say to that MR is you are a better person than I The said person lost me over a year ago now but I do hope she overcomes her battles that lay ahead
