Great view of the fireworks from Newtown,plenty of food,plenty of drink and five minute walk back to the bus stop at about 1.45am for a ten minute wait for the bus and a seven minute trip to home,no crowds and safely behind closed doors now, a very good night and caught up with a few friends i haven't seen for a while.

I spent it in bed, due to just getting out of hospital the day before, and FC fell asleep at about 10.30.....he has worked all over the holiday season.....and then trying to comfort my sister-in-law who spent her first new years without my brother in 30 years, as he was in hospital.....

So lets hope 2009 is a lot better for us that the last one.......

Pleurisy mate......but at least that was the best case senario...they were testing me for a blood clot in the lung.........so I can live with the pleurisy......
