On Campbell Newman, Chook, we agree. My father, known for his rapier-like wit, said that seeing Newman's extended family was like watching the Sopranos.

But that's what Queensland needs/wants - it's a country town in 1860's Australia where the Premier is just a bushranger in a suit.

      .
Why do so many of you quote your daddies?
How is that Soprano similie rapier-like? It's about as banal as your bushranger analogy.

Because we looked up to them they were wise, they grew up in a very difficult era anyone born past 1960 would have diffculty understanding, let alone today's "voting" idiots or pseudo intellectual ****wits that question why so many of us quote our daddies.

Being the Swinger that I am, and living in Brisbane. It was time Anna was pissed off. In saying that, the opposition called in the only person from the LNP that stood a chance. Mr Newman was an LNP Mayour of Brisbane, who has farked every decesion he has made as the Mayor.

The election was a bloodbath, and even a 18 year old Woolworths Deli manager won a seat in Lytton.

We were ****ed, and we will still be ****ed. Much like NSW.
