Yes! The other half picked the St Kilda game because he wanted a game where Richmond were a good chance of winning. He said no to Geelong thinking they’d get flogged by them. Well they ended up beating Geelong and St Kilda are now near the top 4! It should be a good game with a big crowd of crazy Victorians cheering on.Originally posted by horrie hastings View Post
And it's good Richmond beat the pests from the West GWS today.

A fighting fury,
We're from Tiger land,
In any weather you will see us with a grin,
Risking head and shin
If we're behind then never mind,
We'll fight and fight and win.

Love to go to a club game at the MCG on a sunny Saturday or Sunday afternoon. Have only been to one club game in Melbourne and that was between St Kilda and the Swans at Waverley Park back in the late 90s but have seen games at the MCG, they were all Grand Finals.Originally posted by mightyrooster View Post

I wish it was a sunny Saturday afternoon game. Hopefully it’s not too cold on a Saturday night though. I’ve never been to the MCG before so should be interesting to see what all the fuss is about when they go on about it all happening at the ‘G’.Originally posted by horrie hastings View Post

I finally get to post in my own travel thread about travelling..heading home to Qld in a few months. Haven't been to see any family since 2019 so am looking forward to it. My old boss is up there too and I never met her in person as she was only my manager for a few months and she lives close to the family, so we are looking forward to catching up. Another friend moved up there too with her husband, thanks to remote work, so no point in being in Sydney anymore if there was no need for them to do so."Be good enough to forgive people but don't be stupid enough to trust them again."

That's great Andy. I'll be going after you get back probably. Staying directly across the road from Kirra beach again like I always did. Was hoping to catch Marcia Hines in concert but I'll be back at work by then.Originally posted by Andrew Walker View PostOff with the family in a few weeks to Gold Coast looking forward to it Bit of sun and sand on my doorstep"Be good enough to forgive people but don't be stupid enough to trust them again."
