And spare us the sob story about poor ol’ Russia being “lied to by the West” — like Putin was just sittin’ there in his dacha, wide-eyed and innocent, until the mean Yanks tricked him into invading a sovereign country. Mate, he’s been rattling sabres since before Crimea was trendy. Don’t act like he’s the victim when he kicked the whole thing off with tanks and war crimes.

As for Starmer being a “warmonger” — behave. The bloke can barely stir a teacup without polling it first. And your claim that the US “hasn’t suffered” while ignoring the tens of billions spent and the geopolitical blowback? That’s not insight, it’s just parroting RT with a southern drawl.

Also, let’s not pretend sending a few Bushmasters means we’re one step from conscription. You’re acting like Dutton’s at the door with a draft card and a sausage roll.

So yeah, maybe tone down the Cold War cosplay. This isn’t about Western imperialism or “US-style freedom” — it’s about a despotic regime throwing its neighbours under a bus and people like you pretending it’s all just some anti-American bedtime story.
    * Paragraph 1. The offensives are the current massive drone attacks. Surely you've heard? Even your msm is reporting them.

    * 2. We've been over this evil Putin trope before and you've expessed your puerile views before as well.

    * 3. Starmer is depicted in the Western media as being the leader of "The Willing" in the absence of the US. Apparently he is happy to fight to the last Uke. He's a war monger no doubt because there is no way that the "willing", all historical enemies of Russia, Tsarist and Soviet, are going to do anything more than continue to waste military resources.

    * 4. The Bushmaster reference was a joke - the price we put on your "freedom" is apparently a few trucks and a lot of mouthing off so as not to offend the hegemon. Right now, the US is demanding that Albo reverse the sanctions on the 2 Israeli right wing murderers. If we were serious about things we would send volunteers with SS type feelings about Russia - men not unlike yourself. MR could volunteer as a nurse for example. Jax could lead a 4th Reich M.C. battalion, Randy could hear Confession before the squads moved out and the fearsome KIng could shuffle paper, Google and sniff out Uke corruption (Jeez aren't we lucky to have him on $100K per annum, in the top 10%)?

    * 5. Same as a few other msm devotees here, ignore all historical context and ratchet up the emotional rhetoric. Bollocks in other words.

    • Righto, comrade—strap in.
      1. Drone attacks = offensive? Pull the other one, it’s got bells on. Tossing $500 Bunnings drones at border towns isn’t exactly blitzkrieg. If that’s your idea of a “massive offensive,” no wonder Russia’s still stuck trying to capture paddocks it already claimed a year ago.
      2. “Evil Putin trope”? Mate, you sound like you’re about to name your Kombi Vlad the Liberator. He’s a washed-up spook who poisons critics, jails toddlers with crayons, and can’t even win a war against a country a third his size. Chucking a tantrum because the USSR isn’t coming back doesn’t make him misunderstood—it makes him a flog.
      3. Starmer this, Starmer that—you’re frothing over a guy half of Britain couldn’t even name last year. As for “fighting to the last Uke,” maybe don’t invade your neighbours if you don’t want them digging in. Russia kicked this off, then cried foul when folks pushed back. That’s not strategy, that’s sooking.
      4. Bushmasters and freedom—we sent trucks, yeah. Because they work. Unlike half of Russia’s gear, which looks like it was duct-taped together in a Kmart parking lot. And if you reckon volunteering foreign SS wannabes is a valid point, you’ve already lost the plot harder than Vlad after reading NATO’s Wikipedia page.
      5. Historical context? Mate, you don’t want context. You want a rerun of 1980s Cold War fanfic with Russia as the misunderstood hero. But here’s the rub: you can keep quoting Kremlin copy-paste while the rest of us deal in facts. Like the fact Ukraine didn’t invade anyone, and Russia’s turned “special military operation” into a global punchline.
Now give your keyboard a rest, champ. The rest of us have a democracy to enjoy.

Also of amusement is this sites court jester response to your mention of Russian drone attacks Whilst his close compadre here the paper shuffler is lauding Ukrainian drone strikes

        I really love this thread

Dear oh dear Paddo. Sexist much? Why would I volunteer as a nurse? Such stereotyping and I thought you were a progressive thinker. I’m very disappointed.

OH MR !!!! By my interpretation I think you have this all wrong I thought the nurse suggestion was in reference to your qualities of kindness caring and compassion for others.

As nice as that may seem, I don’t think that’s quite what he meant.Apparently I’m one of the gang who has SS type feelings about Russia. It’s all in the context.

              • MR. I thought that an action role was out due to your hearing loss. I would be the same with my hearing that's why I wouldn't be volunteering for the Ruskies. And I did mean what Loki suggested at # 1445.

Andy. I forgot about your stridency. You could be the Jester entertaining the front in drone breaks, poetry readings and general Loki carry on.

I read about Russian drone tactics to reduce casualties - interesting. They work in squads of 3 & 6. The three advance and hold a patch of ground. They then reconnoitre and clear the area. Then the 6 move in, the 3 retiring. The 6 consolidate and prepare the area for the arrival of a larger force and then they vacate. If the initial activity attracts drones, the loss is minimal. The loss ratio is reportedly 10 to 1.

Oh my humblest apologies. Sorry for the lecture. It was said very much tongue in cheek though. By the way I have vision loss, not hearing. And action roles are not really my go anyway. I’m more the coordinator / organiser / planner type.

                  • Do people not think that Trumpy, Putin, Xi Jinping, Kim Jong Un & Zelenskyy talk to each other weekly if not daily?
The 5 of them are in it together & have things the way they are for their benefit.

Nope no way they would -not sure folk have any idea at all about what the Ukraine-Russian war started by Russia is all about - we see the usual propaganda posted by liber Paddo but even he noted that he was clueless about the politics behind it. Swirls and Deviations and Full Moon over Alabama is his only go to sources.

Not saying I am an expert but it is about land and resources - Ukraine is resources rich and also the black sea port in Sevastopol ( Crimea) is what they call a "warm water" port - i.e. doesn't freeze over - current home base of the Russian Navy Black Sea Fleet.

                              • Oi comrade, gone a bit quiet on the great Aaron Martin lately — or should I say Arum Khanh, lead convoy driver to Iran’s president at age 13, master of geopolitics, and part-time forklift whisperer?

Genuinely curious — was the Arab beard and name change part of the application process for running a tinpot Telegram channel, or just a midlife crisis with extra cumin?

Impressive, though. Convincing some geriatric to hand over the keys to their propaganda engine with a resume that reads like a Year 9 creative writing assignment. Honestly, the bar’s so low it’s doing burnouts in the Mariana Trench.
