Surely Putin's days are numbered - A war he started back in 2014 and continues and refuses to cease

Wouldn't be surprised if Putin has taken over command of Russian Military Forces the same as Hitler did when he sacked von Rundstedt and other High Ranking Commanders taking personal command of all German forces on the Eastern Front.

We all know what happened at Stalingrad when Hitler refused Paulus's request and von Manstein's recommendation that the German Troops withdraw/break out of the encirclement at Stalingrad.

Of the 100k or so Germans captured when the Germans surrendered at Stalingrad on 2nd Feb 1943 only 5000 ever returned to Germany and that was in 1955 along with 4000 or so others - If Stalin was still alive ( died in 1953) - None would have ever made it back to Germany.

When your focused on one objective you lose sight of reality including the absurd reasons in starting a war

You are incorrect there Jaxxxx Quite a few of my own last year were closed due to them going off topic A certain poster who was the major player in this is now banned Id love to rehash them to show you But I’m unable to do so

Up to now, yes it has been something of a stalemate but things are now gathering momentum in Ukraine with some dramatic Russian offensives.

We are yet to see the end game which will be interesting. Russia has been lied to repeatedly by the West (US) so Putin is not going to accept less than a win on his terms. .Nor will any Western Europe coalition led by arse hat warmonger Starmer have any effect beyond mere posturing. The disgusting thought is that the war and suffering was precipitated by the US which hasn't suffered, in fact its military/industrial complex has made a motza. All that fighting for US style freedom doesn't come cheap. It has cost us taxpayers a couple of dozen Bushmasters for instance, our unswerving contribution to freedom.

It will all come as a shock to some contributors here. Not a few of our freedom fighters would have wanted boots on the ground as long as it wasn't their boots.
