Brilliant song Eddie. The song I put up before Push sounds like it was very heavily influenced by this song when it comes to the riff. I do recall Robert Smith saying in an interview he was a big fan of The Jam and that they had influenced him with his own music. Any way another tune to enjoy

For such a short lived band, Joy Division influenced a lot of others.
The lead singer actually died before that film clip was released (hence the writing on the door) , and the rest of the band became New Order.
I saw them play at Enmore theatre in the 80's.
The gig wasn't great........................plagued by sound problems.
For years I said they were an ok studio band but hopeless live....................which was unfair. The tech problems weren't their fault.

I am not sure if there is some confusion here But just in case there was I meant Robert Smith was influenced by The Jam Paul Weller is a genius Push and even parts of In Between Days is similar to the riff from Thats Entertainment
