My mother has been diagnosed with inoperable cancer this year.
She is well into her 80s, but I like to think she tried to protect me as a kid.

Cold Chisel were my favourite band, but I was guilty of overplaying their stuff.
Always said this song should be the national anthem.

          Loved Neil Youngs stuff.
Saw him play at the Hodern Pavillion a while back, could almost swear I got room stoned , you'd think that was impossible in a place that big.
His best was "old man" , but this one makes me sad.

              What a night
Was driving across to Prince Of Wales hospital this afternoon to see both of my parents who are in hospital and this song came up on the radio.

ABBA's last song to date although there will be two new ones coming up towards the end of this year
This is just brilliant and melancholy and full of hope at the same time.

I think I overplayed Baby Blue for sure.

And I went through the Ramones phase in the early 80s as well.
                            Thanks coach.

Another band I saw play live a lot was the Beasts of Bourbon.
Best thing Tex Perkins did after that was this,
