Most covers are worse than the original, but there are rare exceptions. IMO:
Divinyls 'Ill make you happy' > Easybeats
Psuedo Echo 'Funkytown' => Lipps Inc (or a tie at the very least)
The Byrds 'Mr Tambourine Man' >>>>> Dylan version
The Angels 'We gotta get outa this place' => The Animals (just)
