    It took me a full year to read Bernie Taupin's memoir. A true wordsmith who has led a very interesting and varied life away from his association with Elton. Totally horse obsessed as well. I recommend it Andrew. It's called Scattershot, Life, Music, Elton and Me.

    Thanks for posting that one and even though I've watched every episode of Rockwiz, I didn't remember that.

    Here is a version of Wild Horses from the soundtrack to Fear, a movie I had seen years ago with Reese Witherspoon and Mark Walhberg. As you are the parent of a teenage girl, I am banning you from watching the movie and that's an order. I can't watch it again either however this version has stuck in my head from the early days.

      • I just watched The Roses which is a remake of The War of the Roses. Susannah Hoffs and Rufus Wainright are on the soundtrack.
