                And here's the other one.
Interesting on CCR & JF this is one of my favourites.
there are a few live versions out there as well (one with Springsteen)

Pearl Jam done a pretty good version at one of their shows.

CCR should have been one of the wealthiest bands around but unfortunately they were one of the poorest due to some interesting business decisions from Fogerty.

I think they are getting a higher percentage of royalties these days though.

                          Hell yes Greedz.

John uses a Rickenback 325 (John Lennon Model) with bridge pickup with Humbucker and bigsby tremolo

He also used 2 Gibson Les Paul Custom one was with 3/4 size neck (thanks to airlines breaking it for him) with Bigby bar on it. It was used for Standard to songs like Up Around The Bend etc.

His other Gibson Les Paul Custom was Tune Down a whole step from Standard Tuning for songs like, Bad Moon Risin', Feelin' Blue, I Heard it Through the Grapevine, etc.

For Acoustics John used Gibson J200

John did own a Gibson ES-175 that was used for songs tune down a whole step like on Proud Mary, Bootleg etc. but it was stolen right be he went to record Bad Moon Risin'.
