Normally when things get testy i move to the Roosters discussion threads.....but it's getting testy too so back here i come!

Jan — During his Senate confirmation hearing to lead the FBI, Kash Patel pledges to “make sure the American public knows the full weight of what happened” regarding Epstein when asked about releasing files

Feb — Attorney General Pam Bondi tells Fox News the “Epstein client list” is “on my desk… to review,” framing imminent action

Feb — Bondi previews “a lot of flight logs… a lot of names,” then the White House hands out binders labeled “The Epstein Files: Phase 1 — Declassified” to conservative influencers.

May- Trump is briefed by AG Pam Bondi that his name appears “multiple times” in Epstein-related files

June- Elon Musk posts (then deletes) on X claiming “Donald Trump is in the Epstein files”

July- DOJ releases memo: no client list, no further disclosures

July- Trump files a defamation lawsuit vs The Wall Street Journal over a story about a 2003 Epstein birthday card allegedly signed by him.

July-Publicly, Trump has called the push for more disclosure “irrelevant” and a “Democrat hoax” aimed at political sabotage.
He also endorses the DOJ’s decision not to release more material and distances himself from accountability.

July- House Speaker Holy Mike Johnson — called an early recess for congress (ending the week’s legislative business early) on July 22, 2025, to avoid holding votes on releasing Epstein-related files.

July- Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche (a Trump appointee and known personal lawyer of Trump) personally conducted a 2-day interview with Ghislaine Maxwell in prison

August- Maxwell is transferred to a minimum security facility without reason and against protocols

Sep-House Oversight releases the “birthday book” from Epstein’s estate, including a sketch / note from Trump

Sep- Holy House Speaker Mike Johnson against standard procedure and is blocking Representative-Elect Adelita Grijalva from being sworn in, despite her victory this week in Arizona’s 7th Congressional District. Grijalva’s signature would give Democrats the crucial 218th name on a discharge petition, compelling a House floor vote on releasing the Epstein files.

The lengths that the Republicans have gone to not have the files publicly released is astonishing. So much for the party of christianity and god. I dont care who is in the files- Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, anyone who is a high profile billionaire or a nobody who is broke- there is nothing worse than a pedo rock spider. There is absolutely no reason to not make the report public

I’m sure there are pedophiles on both sides of politics and among their supporters, but that’s no excuse for protecting them. If you’ve done nothing wrong, you’ve got nothing to fear.

What makes it worse is watching some Republicans pray together in the halls, then walk straight in and vote against releasing the Epstein files. The few who broke ranks — Thomas Massie, Marjorie Taylor Greene, Nancy Mace, and Lauren Boebert — were also the only ones willing to meet with the victims. The rest clearly didn’t want their consciences meddled with.

Now “Holy” Mike Johnson is stalling for time, hoping he can pressure just one of those four to switch sides — because that’s all it would take to sink the motion.

The easy way to understand the right is to know that every accusation is a confession. All those years that Trump and his cultists spent saying that the democrats were protecting the Epstein files because Bill Clinton was all over it turned out to be a confession not an accusation, what a surprise?

The US really is turning to shit. It's one thing to cover up politicians and corruption- its another to openly cover for pedophilia.

The MAGA crowd go very quiet on the subject of Epstein, although in July Charlie Kirk publicly pressed for releasing the Epstein files and criticised the Trump administration’s “perplexing” rollout. After a weekend call from Trump, Kirk said he was “done talking about Epstein” and would trust the administration......although he did another reverse and said he " done talking about Epstein only “yesterday” and devoted his next show to Epstein again.
