He apparently said something along the lines of, we (Americans) should be willing to accept a few gun deaths a year, including victims of school shootings, in order to preserve our right to bear arms. It’s a necessary sacrifice.

Fair enough, just watched that and he never specifically referred to deaths from school shootings. So I clearly misread that somewhere or was told incorrect information about what he said. But he inferred in his broad statement on the subject that a certain number of gun deaths is the price we pay for our right to bear arms. This would through inference include school shooting deaths and all others, well it certainly doesn’t exclude them. His analogy about cars is also stupid imo as a car’s main purpose isn’t to injure, harm or kill. Anyway, some of his views on women also appall me but none of that justifies him being murdered.

Someone killing 2 police officers in Australia where we live & still not being caught is more interesting to me than Kirk Kimmel being killed in America where we dont live.

I can think of worse places than the US. However if I mention them given laws passed in this country recently I could end up in prison. At least in the US you can still enjoy a bacon egg roll, a beer, and your wife and daughters can still have an education and work.
