The member who actually did all the defaming some months back was never banned for that, has since put multiple members on ignore and continues to defame them, including me by claiming we are all the same poster under multiple accounts. Or we are ‘sock puppets’ of the ring leader.

I don't understand why the cookers were all picketing Government House with a HUGE coach (had some random's face on it but looked very much Palmer-funded), with their stupid red flags and 'vaccine mandate' BS.

On Sunday I was having a peaceful run around the lake (the full 30km loop) and their BS was completely blocking me. In no uncertain terms I gave them a serve and was like 'FFS get outta my way you cookers!!! There was NEVER a fukking vaccine mandate and restrictions ended more than 3 years ago you idiots!!!'

The whole crowd went all putrid and started heckling me, saying I've been conned by the government so I made a rhyme on the spot:

It’s clear to me that KS has been given a bit of leeway by the moderators but I’m certain if he continues down his most recent path that leeway will end. Many posters in the past have been given considerable leeway before being banned. I’m glad I’m not a mod as it would be a really tough job.

It’s also ironic that posters blocking other posters for being annoying can’t help commenting on them every week or so.

I don't want to defend him but in all fairness he has been on the receiving end of a pile on for years now so a bit of leeway for a return serve was warranted but the meltdowns of abuse between 12-2am go too far, the stuff aimed at Waylander was totally uncalled for.

I've been on the receiving end of the pile on around here (even a moderator joined in the party) due to my username and belief of supporting the coach and players and it's not fun when you get death threats and vile abuse in private messages and all sorts of abuse that isn't related to what you're saying in footy topics. It's annoying after a while when you want to talk footy and have to read all sorts of nonsensical abuse.

I agree with ism that a lengthier ban is warranted if it continues but King Salvo isn't the only one who should be banned there's a few others who exist here purely to stir him up and they should go too. My suggestion to the moderators is to put all these people on each other's ignore list if that's possible because it's the same people causing the same trouble for years now. Red and R6 do a good job around here and I don't envy them having to deal with all this childish crap that goes on, all of these people are in their 50's and older but they act like spoiled little school children brats.

I tend to agree with you Sam. I have been the recipient of Salvo’s condescending, arrogant replies a handful of times but generally I get on ok with him and find him good value here. He did go OTT the other morning though and his abuse of Waylander was uncalled for. I think the posters who constantly troll him deserved to be banned also. When I tried to point this out recently I was also trolled and abused by some for taking this stand and so backed off because I couldn’t deal with the heat and unpleasantness this created. I wasn’t aware someone has recently been banned though. I must have missed that.

He turned on me too even though I didn't attack him and always defended the NRLW threads from the usual suspects who would de-rail them. People stirring him up is obvious to those of us who don't take part in this childish back and forth that group engage in then other people get dragged in because they get sick of seeing the same old bickering from the usual suspects. I will say this: Salvo talks more actual footy than the other instigators do and that's why they should go too.

Eggspert appears to be banned whether it's permanent or not I don't know so that's 1 of them down but the others are still active so I won't mention them because I don't want to kick off a flame war. If Salvo gets banned then so be it I don't care one way or the other about him I just hope the other 2-3 go with him.

So, if someone multi quotes someone are you saying you can't see the post? And I never said I have a hatred of King Salvo - I just think Salvo is an egotistical hypocrite who is a complete waste of space.

I dislike Trump just like you, as opposed to multiple of your assumed old mates. I disliked Dutton same as you. I am all for vaccinations. I hate Putin and his invasion of Ukraine.
I was actually the victim of bullying, gaslighting and selective exclusion in public right here, never mind privately, not the other way around.
If you have posters including me on ignore that’s your prerogative though I find it distasteful since I always supported you here for many years against bullying from other forum members. But please cease from referring to those you have on ignore as sock puppets as I am one such poster on ignore and I personally consider the label to be defamatory, offensive and false. I do not speak for the other so called sock puppets or old mates you attack however. But if you continue to snipe and cast such aspersions on all those you have on ignore, as one of the aforementioned I will continue to counter those claims to defend myself.
