Nannata and salad to share and then i had osso bucco with mash and the better half had chicken and mushroom ravioli in an arrabbiata sauce, all were excellent, cudo's to the Maltese Cafe Newtown, excellent food.

It’s footy night. It will be something with chicken to get me ready for the big game!

Flat marinated chicken over the hot coals. Veg wrapped in foil and cooked under the coals.

I've converted an old beer keg which works a treat for this application.

Rabbit night tomorrow at the Maltese Cafe, not sure i want to back up there again after having dinner there last night but will see when tomorrow comes.
Found a place in Surry Hills called Jane and they have a wild rabbit and ham hock croquette on their menu plus lots of other interesting things so will check it out one day.

Think tonights dinner will be tuna cannelloni as i don't have to go out and get anything for it but might wander down to the shops to see if anything else peaks my interest.

I love to roll my croquettes in a quality chilli oil especially home made chicken croquettes. So yum!

I have never attempted to make my own croquettes but have made arancini with left over risotto so i suppose it would be very similar, a couple of places i used to frequent in Newtown but have all closed now used to do just plain potato croquettes and they were always great.

Dinner tonight now i am leaning to a boneless chicken which you mentioned, will marinate it with lemon and garlic and do some lemon potatoes with, it is either that or the tuna cannelloni and will have the chicken tomorrow, decisions, went down to the local and bought a chicken just in case.

Marinated oven baked chicken thigh cutlets, cooked on a bed of garlic butter rice. Will have some broccoli on the side.

Decided on the boneless chicken marinated in lemon and garlic tonight with baked potatoes and carrot and steamed broccoli and zucchini. Tuna cannelloni can wait till next Saturday now as will either go to the Maltese cafe tomorrow for rabbit or just have pizza.

Just back from the gym and had a protein lunch of eggs baby spinach mushrooms and tomatoes with sourdough bit of pepper and a lot turmeric on the eggs cooked in coconut oil
