I never contributed to the food thread, but I did read it.
It made me feel very unsophisticated as I'm very unimaginitive in the kitchen, mind you I have to be very careful what I eat.

I agree that's its sad to see old threads disappear, but I assure you that you were not at fault. You didn't even need to apologise for spelling kiev correctly.
They did close the music thread at one point, but I pmed Red and he kindly reinstated it.

That’s a big decision. Family is the most important thing in life. All the best with deciding what to do, it can’t be easy. Same Sally directs comments at me about "batting for both teams" and calls me " rainbow pants" on the food thread and again mbr chooses to ignore them and target yours truly for the thread being deleted.

For the record, I am not gay or bi. I have friends and family that are and they're great people who I love dearly. Make those above remarks in the work place and you're shown the door.

You may have forgotten this but at the same time as Salvo was posting the above to you he was also telling me off for spelling Kiev incorrectly as well. I was already blown away by that accusation so wasn’t exactly defending him for anything at all at the time.
I deplore homophobia.
If you read my first post this morning I explained that I was wrong to be so narky at you last night and that on reflection KS having a go at me (and Milanja) that night for my incorrect spelling, and for not acknowledging my genuine apology was also a contributory factor to the thread derailment. Your response to that was to accuse me of playing the victim and of having two heads.

I don't go on often. So maybe a new one has started that I haven't seen.

Yes, very disspointed the previous thread which was one of the institutions here for over a decade degenerated into a fight club.

I will hit up a mod I sometimes message to try and get it reinstated minus the aggressive posts recently posted.

If that is not possible and no other foodie thread has commences I would feel very honoured to start a new one based on my original reason for posting. I was in a rut re cooking and wanted to get some ideas as to what fellow Chiokoenners were cooking or ordering when eating out, for some culinary inspiration and to inspire others culinary inclinations.
