This thread is heading the exact same way as the other one which had years of history well before your time here and over 2,000 posts. I saw the last few posts on that thread earlier today and it’s the last I saw of it. I don’t usually get cranky and don’t mind a bit of fun and shenanigans but I’m really cranky right now.

I have Googled the recipe and it would appear that dish 1 is Polish. Dish 2 and 3 are Russian.

I'll have a crack at dish 2 this coming week as I love Russian food!

Yes and no. I have had a bad head cold the past 2 days while dealing with a 21st party so not getting a great deal of decent sleep at the moment, which is why I’m typing this at 7am in the morning! On reflection it’s wrong of me to blame Bates / yourself entirely for the demise of that thread. I gave a genuine apology for a genuine mistake regarding the spelling of a particular chicken dish which was completely ignored twice. But the pile on from that is what ultimately I can only presume, caused the thread to magically disappear into the Chookpen black hole.

Probably. That seems to be the point at which the thread started to derail. Bates / Renty’s incessant pile on from that point ensured the thread would never stay on topic. I also put a second apology out there to try and calm things down but it was ignored. So I guess that makes it my fault lol.

Youve got nothing to apologise for. Who cares how you spell a chicken dish? It’s such a shame that chicken can be soo divisive!
