Either way he is going to missed on election nights from now on.

Always loved watching Antony's analysis on election nights whether it was State or Federal.Used to see Antony a bit at one of our local pubs in Newtown usually on a Sunday after an election, haven't seen him for a while now, not certain whether he still lives in the area or may have given up drinking, judging by the last couple of times i have seen him on TV he seems like he may have early signs of Parkinsons, just an observation by me and a few other people but i don't whether it is true or not.
Either way he is going to missed on election nights from now on.

IMO the election result's tough as Dutton probably coulda won in Feb and I don't think that doubling down on right-wing BS (e.g. opposing the voice) was necessarily a bad strategy for Dutton. Abbott got elected on a 'don't change... double down instead' kinda agenda. However he did that while Labor had a minority government, where he could block a lot of stuff.
Dutton's now gone and we might see Sussan taking charge (why did she change her name from Susan to Sussan? Google it... there's a name for this weird club she belongs to that believes that adding an extra S will give her some form of enlightenment). NFI what else she stands for or what direction she'd be pitching. SURELY the hard right has to take responsibility for their 'hard-@rse' leader getting obliterated though? IMO there's no mandate for them to double down on right-wing BS.
MAGA will pass and the world will change. Politics aside, I hope that in 3 years time the world is a friendlier place and there is more economic stability. We've already seen signs of interest rate cuts and sustainable Australian budgets (including multiple surpluses under Labor). This is Labor's first 'proper' second term government for a VERY long time (I'm talking since Hawke/Keating). I hope they clutch the opportunity with both hands and deliver us a more connected, globalised, respectful version of Australia that the Libs simply couldn't offer us under Dutton. I HOPE!!!

Well, time you give the 'traditional" owners your house then, as it's built on their land according to your view, so they own it. 100% you won't, so why pretend? - Tokenism
