  • Did anyone from here ever go to Endeavour Rock?

This brought back memories for me. My introduction to the Divinyls (and also way too much alcohol).

    https://www.sharks.com.au/news/2024/...er%20newspaper).
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I've watched them perform live numerous times back in the day at Selina's Coogee, Bondi Hotel, The Tivoli, The Station down at Jindabyne..

    Chrissy was awesome!

Best gig had the Hoodoo Gurus and The Stems performing before them at the NSW Uni. It went off.

Life was free and easy back then.

It was the best, that's for sure. My first year of work and my work colleague took me to Endeavour Park to see them. We went to the club first (to get drunk). I ended up getting thrown down the front steps after saying something rude to a woman playing the pokies. It was timely though, coz the Divinyls were just coming on stage. Must have seen them dozens of times I reckon...and several times at Selinas. What a venue!!!!

Selina's was awesome. Getting a cab back to Bondi after a gig wasn't easy so we'd often walk and sometimes hitch a ride.

Standard gig attire was black pointy suede boots, black tight Levis that you'd pull over your boots, paisley shirt or quicksilver, hot buttered etc surf brand T shirt and the Denim Jacket that smelt like your last big night.
