I'm sure the result of the election here isn't the reason Jack has been a bit quiet. Elections come and go, as do PMs and presidents – in the end we all soldier on. I reckon they call Australia the lucky country because we have had over 2 decades of dud governments but came through bigger and better.

So 'old mate' is born..And I think others have been included as 'old mate' too...basically anyone he disagrees with.

The great DJT said Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa is a "young, attractive guy, tough guy. Strong past, very strong past — fighter. He's got a real shot at holding it together."
He is a former Al-Qaeda terrorist that killed American troops in Iraq and slaughtered civilians, women and children. He even had a $10 million bounty on him by the U.S. government.
Whacks on a suit, trims the beard, gets rid of the keffiyeh to reveal a Western-style fresh haircut and turns into a good guy! Everyone deserves a second chance, don't they? Or do they?

tbh i don't have a problem with the attempt to bring syria back into the fold. sure, trump is acting out of shallow, perhaps self-defeating american self-interest but good things could come of it.
how about accepting the plane from qatar?! if they're going to accept it it should stay at the disposal of the u.s. president after trump's gone but the big problem is what is qatar getting in return? if there's no such thing as a free lunch you can bet your bottom dollar that there is no such things as a free $400m plane

It was at the request of the Saudi Arabians, however against the request of Netanyahu a few months ago. Highest bidder wins. I am amused by those who said "he just wants peace in the Middle East" Ahhenmm Gaza? Anti-Americanism will always be dominant in the Middle East and North Africa and its what America deserves. As for Trump, he would crawl over a million corpses if there was something in it for him....

Old DJT spent the better part of the last decade giving everyone nicknames and now he is on the receiving end of one, care of Wall St , he is having a sook and calling it nasty. Has there been anyone who can dish it out but not take it like this manchild?
TACO!! I bet Xi is getting a good laugh at it as Trump once again chickens out on the high tariffs he places on the world
