On behalf of the other 2 I sent R6 a pm as to why they were banned with no response, a simple pm to myself or the other 2 posters would have cleared up the confusion, then he as mod could have made his decision, not just ban innocent people on a hunch that's wrong

Generally I don't respond to people who personally attack me in posts or PM's, I'm not sure where your sense of entitlement to a response comes from but I'm an Admin of a free internet forum. I don't owe you anything, I'm sure somewhere in between your expletive ridden rant and personal insults there was a question but why should I fish through it all to respond to you?

I love being able to help people on this forum and had you just sent me a PM at the time saying 'hey dude I think you've accidentally banned my mate because you thought he was turk' then I probably would have taken you at face value, as ignorant as that may have been.

Yes I'm going to get some bannings wrong and yes there's absolutely no way I'll ever be able to say I'm 100% sure (god bless Australian privacy laws), so making educated guesses is always going to be a part of it but saying I banned him on a hunch is wrong & misguided. The IP address matched a previously banned account and the E-mail address matched your account. These aren't things that are generally typical of new users especially when one claims he lives in NZ.

My intentions are never anything but making this an enjoyable forum for Roosters fans to discuss footy on, I admittedly probably could do a better/more consistent job of but to continually suggest my intentions are otherwise and to try and paint me as someone I'm not is becoming extremely frustrating. I'm not going to comment on the bannings any more, if I truly did get it wrong then yes I genuinely am sorry, I'm going to get some wrong but to me that seems like the more preferable option to just not trying.

And if some people have been banned that shouldn't, the blame for that ultimately lies at the feet of the troll/s who have been so relentless that they've created an air of suspicion over every new member.

Now thAt is the response I was looking for, I have never pm'd about anything previously I leave our battles to the forum, I think on this occasion you could have responded and this would not have escalated, I do not envy the task of a mod, would never want to be one.

From my perspective I do not think we have ever agreed on anything, I have copped many a personal insult and attack from members( I have retaliated) yet some of these members were never banned and still exist to this day, so when you are banning members purely because you think they are me, as I said a simple message would have resolved this.

Anyway time to move on, my only other 2 nicks have been mekarsabit rusty and pearcesworstnightmare as many here know, I have nothing too hide, rusty was retired because the password that was used for many a year was changed and I never got a response how to fix it, pearcesworstnightmare was just a shit stir because I could think of nothing else and I honestly do not like him, however I went over the top in many instances so retirement had to happen.

I agree however unless there were hundreds of bannings on those days I think a simple pm or response would have resolved this issue, that is the last thing I will say on the issue, if the others want to join again it is up to them

Good post, sorry to be a pain I am just wondering if you can get BunnywithTeeth reinstated he contacted me a couple of weeks ago a bit perplexed but not overly that he was banned lol.

He is a good mate of mine and I put up with him even though he is a Souffs fan but has some though not a lot of love for our great side. You may have mistaken him for Turk or possibly me lol I can assure you he is not either and has a damn good football mind razor sharp memory especially of the mid 80s to mid 90s matches. I swear he would challenge Horrie Hastings or David Middleton his memory of the games back then is good plus he is a respectful poster and a good bloke. You can check his email address and ip and that should completely clear it up.

i recently tried to log in only to find i had been banned????? I may have had one or two comments during my time on the forum with none of these controversial .....so was a bit surprised by my banning. No luck when trying to seek a reason for the ban either

I've got nothing against Turk the man, but his drivel on here is abysmal. His shtick isn't funny or clever or 'anti-PC' or whatever some on here think. It's tedious.
