We outgained the Sharks 1641m to 1002m and yet lost the penalty count 8-5.
How is that possible?
Sharks coach said at half time "slow down the play the ball more".
They did that, many times illegally, as well as many times offside in defence. The result was it only cost them 2 penalties in the second half, while saving themselves from an even more embarrassing score.
I remember one blatant leg pull on a tackled rooster by Fifita that even Warren Smith couldn't believe was not penalised.
Also, I think that Matt Ceccin has a little problem with us. He seems to get a lot of our games - does he ask for them perhaps.
Anyway, again we showed this side is tough enough to win against biased refereeing.
if we ever get a fair go from the refs we beat anyone! dont expect it though, i remember back to the 2010 grand final when the result was known well before kick off we did spoil their polans a bit by leading at half time but the money and fix were on as were the refs!
