I’m really confused. What are we all arguing about? The OP had a rant 25 minutes into the game, got egg on his face and then graciously admitted he went off to early. A few other posters commented that maybe that’s a lesson not to go off too early. So we have some points and counter points. Seems fair enough to me.

So what’s the big drama about? Have I missed something?

Thus far just NSK going of because he's the best supporter .We can all only strive to achieve such heights. As for Carlos who amongst us hasn't put the cart before the horse

My two cents are that the forum shouldn't be getting clogged up with unnecessary threads, and particularly ones that are actually just dragging specific players or the team through the mud.

Of course we all get frustrated with our team, but you could just post your rants in the match day thread. But people so badly want people to read their rants that they feel the need to make a new thread. It adds nothing to the forum and gets pretty irritating, and I think if we have 5 or so threads pop up during a game, just ragging on specific players, I'd have no issue with them being removed.

Why not just make and sticky a "Our players suck" thread, and then all the rants can go in there if you want to vent lol.

I do find it amusing after every loss, there is a thread for every player going into detail on how they generally sucked. So maybe a generic 'Post Loss - which player sucked today' thread? We would also need a separate one for Robbo as well.

Yeah fair enough with Carlos but you do that and it goes as pear shaped as it did You gotta expect some stick. What I find myself wondering is how many posts till Carlos is not considered new by one and is encouraged to contribute in such a way. Where others who have been around longer are frowned upon by the same person for doing so. Now this is very Rooster related as the notion that a new poster should be encouraged or given carte blanche to mock the team whilst those who have been around longer are not seems a bit strange to me. In fact this person would have to give any new troll who supports another team carte blanche to do the same thing provided they do not say they support another club

Well I know I have been guilty of complaining at home that we're going to lose today, but at the time I prefer not to share my thoughts on this forum in case I end up with scrambled eggs on my face.

You're right though NSK should tone down the abusive language. You can have an opinion without being personally abusive.

No I wasn't thinking that. I agree, I have no problem saying I think we're going to lose but hoping I'm dead wrong. It's more when the game starts bad and you start ranting about how we're going to lose because we've lost the ball in the first set and given away a dumb penalty straight after or the like. When you jump the gun based on the first 20 minutes without giving the team a chance to turn it around. I've been guilty of thinking that but would never post it on here at the time because I know from years of experience, the game changes over the course of the whole 80 minutes.

I get it I’m pretty careful what I say prediction wise during a game Against a few sides early in the year I was pasting the performance during a game RE drop ball and against Broncos I made the prediction at half time no matter what happened in that match I considered us a bottom eight side at best at seasons end Then after Canterbury loss and maybe even at half time I said no finals footy for us. Barring a miracle I will be right with Broncos prediction. The other one is touch and go and was always going to go down pretty close to the wire one way or another. Hoping I am wrong on that last one.
