I'm expecting a lot more out of our young forwards than what we will get from Atoni but I hope Robbo can motivate him and he's a late bloomer.
Tuku Hua Tapuha is the one I'm looking forward to seeing more of with his size.
The Storm have been murdering teams in the middle with their interchanges when Grant comes on as hooker and the cheese with his mobility in the middle and the giant Nelson comes on and offloads at will against tired defences.
Manly have hit on this formula with Dylan Walker in the middle and Paseka with his offloads .
I'd love to see us do similar with Watson's mobility and Tapuha offloading because we definitely need something different in the middle of the park.
The injury toll over the last two years shouldn't mask over the fact that we haven't beaten a top side for a couple of years and a big factor in that is we have been beaten up in the forwards.

Your right the Chooks have been bringing talent through but after Sticky & until Brian Smith left the club lost its way where Melbourne has done it continually for 20 years no matter who they lose. The Chooks are next best at it after Melbourne IMO.

    - Blake Ferguson - if he wants to stick around in the NRL and be part of a successful team, we could snap him up?
Yes to Sims. Could use the experience.

I thought I heard Fergo was going to Union. But it'd be a no for me anyway. Would rather give Joey Suaalii an extended crack

If Crighton & Sitilli are fit then they start with E Butcher & Whyte waiting in the wings & maybe adding Simms.
    Rads, Watson & N Butcher cover 13.
14 Watson 15 SST, 16 N Butcher 17 Sims? or Baker, Thomas, Suluka- Fifita, E Butcher, Whyte, Marschke, Lam or Keighran
Verrills No 9 with maybe Marschke, Lam or Keighran interchanging with him. One of those 3 will not be at the Chooks next year
Other than maybe Sims I think the Roosters will continue to promote with in plus they still have Tuku as well & hopefully they all fire. Its the Melbourne model, discover unknowns who turn out to be rep players.
If Smith & Suaalii step up & stay fit they can be the guys needed to replace the Morris boys & with Teddy, Manu, Keary & Toups their is plenty of strike. Halfback is still a bit of a problem & its a big problem again if Keary goes down. Sammy is 2 or 3 years away from being a top notch halfback & Hutch or Lam arnt going to win you the comp. The Chooks are in the same position next year as they were this year if something happens to Keary you can kiss a Premiership goodbye.

Atoni will be great for us, especially under the tutelage of Robbo..

He is a strong runner with clever ball skills, can’t wait for next season!

And Taukeiaho when we signed him from the Warriors.

And I'm sure some Eels fans were filthy about the Isaiah Papalii signing, too. Afterall he was a Warriors rejects so couldn't be any good either...

TiT - I wouldn't read too much into Barrett's team selections!
