After just watching the final play again, also that footage of cronk and keary. Cooper looks like the proudest dad when walker makes that tackle. Also, what Toops pulled off defensively has to arguably be one of the greatest things he's ever done as a Rooster. Watch him and Keighran at the end, he's a special human that Daniel. Would have loved to play alongside him in any sport.

      So agree.

Journos and haters so triggered about field goal supposed interference (Annersley explained how it wasn't), and that poor Titans centre getting crucified. But he made the call to throw the dummy and it took balls of steel for Toops to not fall for it, and then man handle him from crossing to score. He honestly thought he stroll over but Toops didn't fall for it, hence the mad blind throw over the sideline.

We owe our extra week at least in the NRL to Toops - I don't think anyone else could have done what he did.

While he confirmed the rule, he left the door open for rule changes. I am soooo sick of this reactionary BS!!!!

Don't change the rules, just don't!!!! We have a ludicrous case where there was no wall and nobody was obstructed but because a bunch of wankaz get joy outta seeing us lose, they are campaigning for rule changes that would make a non-contentious, rarely used (saved for extraordinary circumstances) rule overly technical/complicated.

Fark some people are stupid! It's like the bloody 5 man strips all over again. Commentators/management see an isolated situation where the rules favour us over the result they want from the game. Time to change a rule that doesn't need changing, while allowing Bellamy to privately discuss how HE will interpret it (lemme guess... the 'genius' will be rubbing his hands over ideas that involve trying to contest drop-goals by running into defenders rather than going for the kicker... no surprises there).

Please Analsley and Vlandarse... you're fukking idiots I know but DON'T change the rules!!! They already work and don't need adjustment. Doing so would be inventing a problem rather than a solution.

Maybe Thompson was having flashbacks to his Tiger's days when Toops tackled him on the tryline and rolled him over the touchline to win us the game in the final minute !

toops' last minute tackle is in the same league as braith's field goal in the 2010 final v wests

As often happens, the tv producer's poor choice to go in close at the wrong moment robs us of a perfect view of the action, which is why most think there would have definitely been a try if he catches the ball.

If he get's the ball in front of him it is extremely likely he will score.....but, from his position that is virtually impossible. Plus, he is standing flat-footed, facing the passer. There's a good chance Drew would've got to him. The only way for the ball to get to him in front of him was for it to be a forward pass (which he probably should've thrown, 'cause you can bet they would've overlooked it!)

Toops and Walker won that game against the Titans.

The unsung hero in the play was Hutch, he's got Gary Hughes type pace as a 5/8 but he put his head down and busted his arse to come across and put an extra man in the defensive line.

he did great. people say he might have been offside but if he was it was marginal. he's offside at the play the ball but retreats back and maybe gets back the 10

The nrl 360 panel discussed it on Monday night.
yet jobs-for-the-boys Paul skin Crawley couldn't wait to have another dig at us last night when they were discussing Parramatta. He just rocks up every week to trash Easts and arse lick Bennett.
