Annesley has specifically said previously that whether the contact is direct with the head, or the defeders arm or shoulder bounces of the ball or shoulder first then makes contact with the head is irrelevant. Yesterday, Vlandys said this about the Feldt tackle;
“There was one incident that people thought the player should’ve been sin-binned, but the bunker has all these different angles and they looked at all the angles and they believed the contact wasn’t to the head in the first instance.”
