Our opening 20-30 mins of games without JWH are a worry though.

When we are defending our line, I’m more comfortable with Butch’s defence than Sitili’s. Every player has strengths & weaknesses. Butch is still young enough to continue to develop, and he did lose the best part of 2 years of development through shoulder surgery and other injuries. I’m quite happy to have him.

If you sub off a backrower then that's nine.

        Very risky.
Agree with your rotations , Radley definitely needs a spell either side of halftime. The Storm always seem to have a forward that has to go off for a hia and free interchange that helps giving an extra breather to the forwards.
I'm hopeful rather than confident in Cords when he returns for us.

I am happy to give credit where it is genuinely due - he played well the other day. It would be ideal to see a bit more consistency from him, but I won't hang any Rooster player out to dry.
Butcher definitely earned his keep against the Eels, pure guts. Probably his best game for us, tackled himself to a standstill.

He has changed my opinion of him.

I’ve always viewed him as a reserve when we are down on players but never a regular first grader because he lacks consistency and only plays a great game once or twice a year. I’d release him anytime he wanted to go. Suuali and Walker are diamonds while Butcher is rocks. But he’s still valuable to fill in when we are injury ridden.

Butcher was very good. Made a crucial error but that may have something to do with making 70 tackles.

A couple of weeks ago we had Bmoz and Collins in that team.
I doubt the curse will have been lifted come semis.
But Yes that is a team that can win any game. Fingers crossed.

Big call seeing Suaali hasn't played FG yet.

I hope your right but you should also realise that you have to be a rock before you can become a diamond!

I love how in control Butcher is in defense. He's so good at only letting the tackled player play the ball when he's got himself set at marker. There's never a quick play the ball when he's one of the tacklers.

Sadly there won’t be a long term. Next hit and he’s gone.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
