Fifita is the interesting one for me. I have seen very little of him, but from what I have seen he looked very very good.

Still a pretty bloody decent team even with those 3 out.

If a 4 month break isn’t enough for Cordner than get rid of him today. We can’t be paying him not to play. He’s taking up space in the cap and if he’s not going to play he’s tits on a bull.

I totally agree with you mate
As a supporter of the Club my opinion doesn’t mean much but I for one have had enough of Cordner and the continuos games missed due to rest,I think it’s time..

              Wow...brutal lads!
I would hazard to say it’s not us as supporters who are paying Boydy’s wages....and let’s face it, he’s given our club some sterling service over the years.
We all want Angus sured up for the future, but I’m sure uncle Nick and co. know what they’re doing salary cap wise.
We’ve had 3 premierships in the last 10 years...in my eyes that’s pretty freakin awesome, and with all these youngsters coming through I’m sure the future looks very promising in chook town.

I’m with you there re Boyd, if anything the club has shown over the last decade is its loyalty and support to those who serve it well. Some will say that we have sacked/ released players mercilessly, but in my humble opinion they were treated fairly, i.e. Ferguson was let go for a much better financial deal with parramatta, Zane to Penrith and now onto SL for a much more financial reward, even Kyle flannigan was let go to give him an opportunity of regular first grade spot and more money as his spot wasn’t guaranteed at the roosters.
We have stood by players like Mini, SKD, Aubusson, Friend and now Verrills and even Pearce was shown plenty of support and it was only through his flawed decision making he refused to stay and play for premierships.
If Cordner needs to have 3-6 games off during the season in order to continue playing for the roosters, then I’m all for it.

Nobody is bigger than the club. If Boyd is fit and raring to go that’s great. But if he’s not it’s time to go. Not personal I love Boyd and will always appreciate what he’s done for us but I love the team more.

Im hearing Suaalii will be in the backrow & captain this year, apparently its one of the clauses he had added to his contract.

With the two pensioners in the backline there will no doubt be plenty of opportunity for Sualli and Smith. And let’s not forget Iku.

Why do you think that? Because of our bid for the NRL to allow him to play? I hope we don’t rush him because of the hype.. let the kid get settled and build confidence first.

I dont think he will start the season in the run on side, I could be wrong but I think they will ease him in but I totally agree with your post.
