A win for all 3 parties involved.

Hopefully he gets some good minutes.

This also indicates that SST injury is nothing long term.

Honestly, a loan system should be implemented in league. Gives young prospects a chance to develop around 1st grade rather than NSW or QLD cup. As a big fan of soccer and seeing how successful it is there, I believe it would have the same impact on League.

Does the loan player play against the team he was loaned from?

I believe in the EPL a loaned player is forbidden to play against the team he was loaned from in regular EPL rounds, however they can play against the team the were loaned from in other domestic competitions like the FA Cup, I’m fairly certain that’s how it works, and the team that the player is loaned too pay his salary, said player could play against the reserves team if not picked in starting team.

You’re spot on there. An example is Dean Henderson from Sheffield United who is on loan from Manchester Utd and was not allowed to play against them in the EPL game between the sides due to the rules.

I assume we will get a cap deduction for the 4 weeks he is gone...and for longer if he is injured?

So we can buy someone else for 4 weeks?

I don’t see how a few week loan could work with a salary cap or loans altogether because of the salary cap the A-league had massive issues with this years ago.

Proud of our club for doing that.

                              No.
I don't like the whole idea at all.
We are going to need him at our club.
With rolling 6 agains, fast paced games, and players having to be smashed to slow the games down to a normal pace, our forwards will be worn out in 2 rounds.
