As an edge backrower I’d say yes, but certainly not if it’s a middle that needs replacing. I think Collins and Liu will come on first as the front row replacements, then Butch will give Rads a spell. I think Verrills will get used as a straight swap for Jake at some point. I’d like to see him get a go at that small impact middle forward role at some point but given the interchange restrictions on this trial I’d say that’s unlikely.

Yes he's been promoted based on his brilliant off-season form.
