LOL Jizzy, we are not the transit lounge anymore regarding Gagai. Only plays 3 decent games a year, in a maroons jumper for qld!

I like Douehi, but where would you play him? I'm read somewhere Farrar wants his leb buddy back at the Tigers. The kid has heaps of potential though.

Simple Jack would make a good edge running back rower in the future. No brain, no pain.... And would not come cheap.

Nup, tit-for-tat. We should go all out for their gun player and future capt Cam Murray when he's up for negotiation. Offer him overs so they have to pay through their teeth to re-sign him.
Having Cody Walker, Fatrell, Jai Arrow and Cam Murray as marquee players on big $$$ is going to put them under significant strain.

We're cashed up and if by chance we nabbed Cam Murray that would be the icing on the cake. Ideal replacement for Cordner.

Pile the pressure (dollars) on him and get him to demand a break in his contract now!

Not sure how that can be done though seeing he has 2 years left & we can't approach him until November.

But his best mate Kyle could ask him to ask the sharks for an early.

How would you feel if another club like the Warriors did that to the Roosters & they were enticing Manu to break his contract?

It’s done via managers and they’ll threaten the contracted club that the player will ‘kick stones’ if he isn’t traded.

Gold Coast have taken the punt that Arrow won’t as if he did he would likely miss Origin selection.

However, clubs that sign a player to play in the same spot, ie Cronulla, have more to worry about. If Xerri wasn’t giving 100% at training and Morris and Ramien were, when it comes to game day team selection, and they pick Xerri, team harmony is shot. It already happened last year at Cronulla and now they have Ramien, it’ll happen again.

Ramien did the same at Newcastle.
                        ..it’ll be interesting to see

Heard the one about Lattrell and Souths?

Indeed. It happens on a weekly case throughout the NRL.

And we don't need to entice anyone. Cronulla have actively been shopping players as they have a tight cap.

If we offered to take JMoz' contract who is surplus to requirements at the Sharks then perhaps they could pay Xerri more which keeps him happy and he stays long term.

                            Win-win. Nothing nefarious at play.

                              Then there's old mate Duges.

Maybe we should sign Duges? :P

Roosters broke latrells contract, not Souths, he had a year to run, and we gave him to them as a gift, with an acl injury to his replacement in return.

                                yes I’m bitter
