  • Josh Addo-Carr at the Roosters in 2021

Possibility of Josh Addo-Carr joining the Chooks in 2021 as a winger since Brett Morris and Ryan Hall will most-likely retire ?

Addo-Carr wants to return to Sydney and surely play for a sucessful Sydney based team so what other decent options would there be ?

    1. NSW origin team mates in Teddy, Cordner and Crichton
    2. Cronk connection
    3. Roosters will need a new winger for 2021

Some of the above points would make Josh Addo-Carr a good addition. I know he's a left edge winger and Toops has that position covered but surely he'd make a lethal combination on the right edge with Manu !

Is the Fox Worth the acquisiton ? or do we overlook him and opt for someone like "Bronson Xerri" to join the Chooks as a left edge centre and use someone like Billy Smith as a right edge winger ?

He’d be great but let’s not kid ourselves. He’ll go to the Vermin. It seems to be the destination for dissatisfied indigenous players.

Loved by few, hated by many, respected by all.

Yeah but he is also another specialist winger wanting to play fullback....he is a goer and would make it. Which makes trhe whole souffs /Latrell thingy more interesting and more volatile.

          Posted this in another thread:

Franky Pritchard told me the other day that the dogs have pretty much got Ado-Carr over the line.

No? He is an awesome player. Not as a fullback but he has to be the fastest winger in the game. I'm a big fan but doubt we would spend big on a winger.

The Chooks wont go near him.

My thoughts on JAC are that the Roosters have a very handy left winger right now so a no thank you to JAC, despite his ability.

Xeri could be an option or stick with what we have coming though

Robbo likes his wingers to have a bit of size and strength about them, Addo-Carr is quick but have you watched us dominate him when he brings the ball back on kick returns? I'm sure its a tactic to kick to his side of the field knowing that we can dominate on plays 1 and 2 and slow their sets right down

Not Robbo's style of winger so doubt he will become a chook. I think he will end up with Souffs, Tigers or Bullcheats.

I think Fox would command $500k minimum per season. The Roosters have shown that they are not willing to pay this money for a winger. Smart business. If they were willing to pay this sort of money for a winger they would have kept Fergo. Fox is great but not for us.
