It would make sense for them to be sick of paying him while he is on holiday and not playing. Move on
    ..it’ll be interesting to see

There is no insurance payout for Sam, the NRL ruling is not contingent on decisions made by insurance companies. It will take a long time for any decision made by an insurance company. That is why the $3.6M over 10 years is the exact same amount as his remaining 3 years contract value. The job is a settlement.

Based on what exactly? The last time he got the best out of someone was when he dumped his wife for that skanky secretary.

        Chook.

Watch out for Parra next year. Recruited well and will be tough to beat.
If they are one of our dangers then we should bolt in.

Next weeks game against the Riff will be interesting. Penrith have a real 2003 feel about them this year.

It certainly will be although the team would be seething considering the 1st game b4 the Rona. Roosters should've won then and they'll make sure they don't make the same mistakes and actually shut down kikau and korisau.

Penrith have improved since the Rona as well.

That too, the game against Melbourne showed that they'll be a tough team to beat. Although the game against Para showed that it's possible that they can be complacent.

I actually was impressed with their game against the Eels and wasn't surprised by the Melba result. It was 2 missed tackles by their young centre that did it, but they were clearly the better team for 95% of the match. At least it won't be a one horse race this year and we won't get complacent.

Yeah, competition at the end of the day keeps everyone motivated and keeps the fun rather than a one horse race.

I have to respectfully disagree with you sir.
After watching easts get smashed until Freddy showed up and even after that.... after waiting until my teens to see that it was actually possible for us to win the comp I'm more happy for us to win 50nil every week, every season. Who cares about the other team being competitive, I'll take the one horse race.
