  • Are we back? What have we missed?

It's unfortunate that the site went down around this time but them's the breaks.

So many in the media are still tarnishing our GF win. Thank goodness some like Hughes & Tunksie on 2SM have been very objective and have offered a realistic opinion about all of this BS.

I still remember that boofhead Thurston going on about how he heard 6 again many times..But the Channel Nine replay after the game showed he never said it loud//He said is that 6 again, asking Sutton...yet he ambushes Robbo at the time he should be congratulated for the achievement of back to back. I'm thinking Thurston is still pissed off about the close call he got against at the SFS a few years ago in the finals and can't let it go. FOFF Thurston!

Then the overturn of the Takeiaho tackle that was a scrum for us first and a penalty now to the raiders. That led to the Cronk sin bin. If the right call would have been held, then we would have been attacking them in their half and Cronk would not have been binned. we could have scored again...?

And as for this Breen on the SMH, the fwitt is just keeping the rage just because its popular and his evidence is selective while not even mentioning the Keary incident of being attacked in the air...and nothing about the penalty that led to Cronks sin bin...

    Roosters 2018 & 2019 Champions!!!!

Soon to be 2020 champions at the SCG!

Firstly, Good to have the site back, appreciate all the work Chris does.

The media and so called neutral supporters of other teams since the GF has been off the charts. Unless their is an off season scandal, this saltiness and butt-hurt will continue until Round One 2020.

The bottom line... The faders were not good enough to win the game, Easts were, and won fair and square. Fark the haters. We are the champions.

Now for three in a row.

Breen’s article in the SMH is a disgrace on any number of levels.

      https://www.smh.com.au/sport/nrl/roo...box=1570860747

So we are now held responsible to mend the current wrongs of the game.

What irks me the most though is not about the game but the inference the Roosters don’t do anything for charity or in the community and that we’ve never had a player win the Ken Stephen medal. It’s almost defamatory.

The ongoing outrage is next level madness.

A three-peat will see the end of the world.

      Go Easts!!

The Storm might be missing a representative prop for quite a while if that video out of Bali is authenticated.

Just read that article in the SMH for the first time. What a poor piece of journalism.

Firstly, anyone who complains about the ball hitting the trainer and doesn't concede that we should have got a penalty cos Keary's legs were taken out is an idiot.

Secondly, the club and its players do a heap of charity work.

Thirdly, there were a few wrong decisions in the game and concentrating on just the ones that disadvantaged the Raiders is idiotic.

Fourthly, ah **** it, what's the point of arguing with idiots.

I read that Breen article. What a joke. More of the waders were wobbed rubbish. The part I found so laughable though was he was ranting about the NRL’s desire to have every decision perfect which according to him, causes these problems. Seriously? It’s the media’s desire to have everything perfect, and if it’s not to then run with the over the top outrage about it, that causes the problem. This causes the reactionary NRL to then attempt to appease the pathetic media outrage. What hypocrites they all are.

It’s all pure unadulterated jealousy. For both tries we had legitimate possession but it was the raiders defense that broke down. Sam scored through 4 Raider defenders by ducking and weaving. Their fault alone. And again from Cords to Keary and that freak flip pass by Mitchell to toops then Teddy backing up - the raiders defense was just mesmerised and shot to pieces by latrells pass. That’s their fault no one else’s. Stuart told reporters to print that they were robbed so all this hate was perpetrated and instigated by Stuart. When reporters said it was a wrong decision he said to print it. Nothing about raiders defensive lapse or tackling Keary in air just all our fault. Yes it’s our fault we won because we took our chances raiders didn’t.

Mitchell Aubusson has been cleared of any serious knee injury, with scans revealing a moderate medial ligament sprain. Usually a 3-6 week recovery period, shouldn’t significantly hamper his preseason training

Great start to the offseason for the NRL.

BREAKING: Melbourne has confirmed a NRL player - believed to be prop Nelson Asofa-Solomona - has been involved in an ugly street brawl in Bali.

I hate those ugly street brawls. I prefer the beautiful street brawls

The media will find a way, probably blame this incident on the roosters as well lol.

This statement implies that Roosters players are not interested in their communities or elements of community life. Hope you have the courage champ to face the players and repeat your claim. Has all the class of an overpaid keyboard warrior.

While his paper continues to try and draw previous readers (myself a long term subscriber - no more) back, with the claims surrounding the quality of its journalism, then this clown appoints himself as the judge of human empathy.

All respect to Sio and his extension of himself to the people around him and his work should be highlighted and applauded.

The game and its players across all clubs work hard to support their communities around them in either low key or prominent roles, often reflecting on the tough pathway they trod as young people. Ask Joey and Zane about the positive influence they are trying to bring to bear in their community back in New Zealand.

A balanced and non-judgmental approach (below) to shine a light on this work would go a long way to supporting the outcomes coming from the good work that the players do.

if you thought this was your great puffing your chest moment you have proven yourself to be a sad human being.

I am sure it all goes back to his pent up frustration of being sin binned against the Roosters in the first 20 seconds.
